The Night Riders are Esthar Garden's elite special operations team.

Background

Founded soon after the First Team was founded at Balamb Garden, Headmaster Martine instituted a similar program at his own Garden. Comprised of three squads, he chose his best and brightest SeeD to join these squads. These squads would enter the field when other SeeD were not suitable for the task at hand. Thusly when any one of these squads were activated, a large fee was added to the contract.

The identities of the members and leadership of this squad is kept to the Headmaster and SeeD Commander of Esthar Garden. This maintains their anonymity, and protects them in the field.
