Biography
- "I wanted to change the world, too. But, I changed nothing. That is my story."
- ―Auron to Tidus
In a world where religion is the basis for society, one must make a choice whether or not you wish to be a member of that same society, or whether you wish to be outcast from it.
Auron didn't have a choice in the matter.
Accused of actions he didn't commit, Auron was outcast from the religion that he believed in. Even as an outcast, however, Auron stilled believed whole-heartedly in Yevon, and those beliefs led him to become a famous guardian to Braska Kaname.
Those beliefs also led him to Zanarkand, Yunalesca, his death and an oath he would keep even beyond death.
He spent the years after his death watching after his fellow guardian Jecht Kuroda's son in the dream of the Fayth. And when that son left on his own journey, Auron followed him back to Spira.
He was more ready to pass the reigns of the world on after Sin was defeated for the final time. But if there was anything that he learned from his journey, it was this.
[Lore:Foreshadow of Memory|Legends never die.]]
Personality
Auron is quiet, but loyal to those he has given his loyalty to. To lose his loyalty and trust is to gain his ire.
Synopsis
Auron has been involved in nearly every major event from the first story in the Clouded Horizons series - Destiny's Call - as well as starring in his own two stories - Foreshadow of Memory and Subtleties of Honor - as well as some indirect involvement in later events in Dimensional Legend. For more information, see the pages for those works.
Combat Information
- "This is my story, and you're not a part of it."
- ―Auron to Tidus
