Tidus Kuroda is a native of the city of Zanarkand in the world of Spira in the Clouded Horizons series.

Biography

Tidus is a young boy from Zanarkand, a futuristic city that was once located near Mount Gagazet. However, after the being known as Sin invaded his hometown, Tidus was sent a thousand years into the future, meeting up with Yuna Kaname and her guardians on her pilgrimage to defeat the mighty creature. Over time, Tidus developed feelings for the summoner; however, their relationship was not to be, as it was discovered that Tidus' existence was merely a dream of the fayth. After Sin's defeat, the boy disappeared, returning to the Farplane to join his father.

Two years later, Tidus was revived by the fayth as a result of Yuna's love and determination to find him. The pair were reunited on Besaid Island, and quickly discovered that each of them had changed dramatically in the time they were apart. Six months later, Tidus traveled to the world of Gaia in the Eighth Realm with Yuna and her friends, at the request of the fayth.

Personality

Tidus' brash and hasty nature often gets him into trouble that he has difficulty getting out of, but despite this, he is a very loyal person to his friends and allies alike. No matter the situation, Tidus will stick by those he associates with to the very end if need be.

Combat Information

Tidus' skills in combat are of an almost purely offensive nature, letting him use his sword and the occasional Blitzball in battle to devastating effect. He also has a bit of experience with ranged weapons and very accurate aim, but prefers to stick to melee weapons.
