Her early memories of being on her feet running, only a small knife in her hand for protection, Kitaras Nicholai lived her early years on the harsh streets of an occupied Timber. Hiding from groups of children and soldiers who wanted nothing more than to see her trampled, she learned to always keep one step ahead of them.
She was able to do so for years, until a battle approached her that she couldn't evade. She had no choice but to leave the city, and head for the first hospitable place she'd find; someplace where the price on her head would no longer be an issue.
Deling City welcomed her with its dark lures. Once again, she found herself on the street... until a man by the name of Vinzer Deling II approached her as she hid outside a restaurant his family owned. Sheltering her, giving her everything she could desire, he allowed her to flourish to become his right hand, his angel of death.
She was his Albel Nox.
She continued to defend him and his Family until the day that Jarok Nox took them all away, and tried to take her life. Within seconds of death, she was snatched away by Freya Vanadis to be offered something she couldn't refuse.
After all, who would say no to being a Pillar, even temporarily?
When her mother Destine resumed her role as the Pillar of Destiny, Kitaras continued her education at Balamb Garden, and was quickly put on the fast track for First Team membership.
Personality
Kitaras is considered by most to be temperamental. However, she, because of her rank in the Special Operations program does keep her temper in check. While on a mission she is calm and directed, allowing for quick execution of any mission objectives she might be assigned. Serving as a Pillar, for the short time that she was, also served to calm her temper.

Kitaras' skills with a katana are unparalleled by anyone, and her speed leaves others in the dust. Her title as Silver Dragon was earned by her lightning fast strikes, and the power to back them up.
- Master Katana Specialist: She has been using a katana since her time on the streets of Timber. Her skill with it is unparalleled.
- Average Strength: Despite her Erudite heritage, Kitaras does not have the strength of many of her peers. However, her strength is on par with an average Hume.
- Exceptional Agility: Kitaras' lack of strength is made up for her incredible speed and agility on the field of battle, allowing her to run circles around most average opponents.
- Skilled Magic User: Kitaras, as a descendant of Destine, is well versed in magic. However, she seldom chooses to use it.
