Juliett Jareau was born in Winhill, and throughout her childhood was known to be helpful and far too friendly for anyones good. Throughout her childhood though, it was also known that she looked up to a certain man who'd been around when she was a small child. And when Laguna Loire had left to rescue Ellone Loire, Jareau had begun to dream of doing things similarly to him.

A few years later, and a little bit older, she joined the newly founded Balamb Garden.

While she was never particularly notable in combat, she constantly scored highly in all of her classes regardless. When she graduated from SeeD, she took on a more active roll at home, whether it was watching over classes, assisting instructors in preparing for classes; whatever needed to be done.

When the Sorceress Conflict ended, she transferred to Galbadia Garden on request of Garden Master Martine. While she was originally assigned to coordinate and conduct many of the annual psychological examinations of cadets and SeeD members at Galbadia Garden, she was later approached by Colonel Alexander Munro and the Garden Master to join the Special Operations division as a member of the elite Alpha Squad.

She passed the tests to join, and was inducted into the SpecOps program as an intelligence and interrogation specialist.

Juliett is a friendly, soft spoken woman. She makes friends quite easily, and gets along well with her team as well as anyone she comes into contact with in the Garden organization. This personality allows her easily to befriend anyone and get information that the team or Garden may perhaps need.

Juliett is a hand to hand specialist, using her knowledge of the Hume mind to predict the battle, as well as the fastest way to end it. She, for the most part, relies heavily on the rest of the team, keeping to the outside of the combat line and joining only when it's clear her services are required.

• Expert Hand to Hand Specialist: Her only fighting strength, she relies on punches and kicks to get her through a battle.

• Average Strength: Because of her focus on interrogation, she usually allows others to do the fighting for her as is her purpose on the team. The strength that she does have comes from rigorous SeeD training.

• Enhanced Agility: Juliett makes up for her lack of strength in her ability to keep just out of the enemies' reach.

• Weak Spiritual Energy: Juliett has little to no spiritual energy to speak of, beyond that normal to a Hume.
