Family Rites is a canon story set in the Eighth Realm of the Clouded Horizons series, detailing the underground confrontations between the Deling family of Galbadia and the DeValle family of Trabia.
While Destine's plans unfolded throughout the world, words that she had with the President of Galbadia set forth actions in Galbadia City that would change the very way the city was run. The information she gave Deling allowed him to find businesses and employees who were funded by the DeValle family out of Trabia.
This story details the fall of the Deling Family in Galbadia City, as directed by the DeValle family head, Darius DeValle Sr.
