History
Little is known about Ancient-class beings in general; most of the knowledge is from pieces of direct observation, the rest little more than legends and speculation. Of what is known, these facts are certain - Ancient beings are incredibly wise, owing to their task of overseeing entire planes of reality, usually on their own. They are also incredibly powerful beings, capable of laying low the vast majority of the beings on those same planes with their power alone. History and legends told that the first Ancients were created by the Authors of their respective realms, and while this statement appears to have been true, it would seem that it is not the only way an Ancient can assume their position...
