Hume are a race of humanoid beings in the Clouded Horizons series' Eighth Realm.
History
Hume are the prevailing race on the mortal plane of the Eighth Realm, a resourceful and widespread race that thrives under nearly any conditions. Created and placed on the mortal plane by Erasmus and Freya, they have been around since the realm's inception at the hands of the Author himself. Despite their admirable survival skill, as evidenced by their survival for over two millenia, they are often physically fragile, with the average lifespan being seventy to eighty years for most Hume. Hume hold great deals of untapped potential, and live to adapt to their surroundings. They, along with Vayash Moru and Quincy, are one of the only races to have the ability to attain Transcendence Classes in the Eighth Realm.
