Overview
A Transcendence Class is considered the pinnacle of power for a Hume, Vayash Moru, or Quincy character - Malakh, Daiesthai, Erudite, and Ancient characters cannot attain a Transcendence Class through legal means. It grants power beyond that of an Extended Class, and as such, each class has very strict and lofty requirements. To take a Transcendence Class, a character must first:
- Reach character level 200 and
- Reach level 100 in the two required Extended Classes
This means that by the time a character is able to take a level in a given Transcendence Class, they have at least four Base Classes at level 50 or above, and at least two Extended Classes at level 100 or above, representing the necessary practice and experience that a person would need to attain the level of skill demanded of them.
Each Transcendence Class shares a common feature - three Attributes that enhance the class in different ways. All Transcendence Classes have one Attribute which increases the overall functionality and effectiveness of their active abilities, while the other two may do anything from enhance a character's Stamina to grant an increase in attack speed. Each Attribute can attain a maximum rank of 16, and characters have a limited point system with which to increase an Attribute's rank. Characters will gain a maximum of 255 points for Attributes at class level 150, and an Attribute's rank is increased by spending a number of points equal to the next rank. For example, it costs one point to increase an Attribute's level to 1, but it would then cost two more points to increase the rank again to 2; 136 points are required to increase an Attribute's rank to 16. Some sample arrays for Attribute ranks are:
- Balanced: 13 / 12 / 12
- Single-Attribute Maxed: 16 / 13 / 7
- Dual-Attribute Specialization: 15 / 15 / 5
